Project Overview

The Kagera water supply infrastructure is to improve water supply production and transmission for Mbarara urban district and a part of Isingiro district, Western Uganda. The water treatment plant is on the banks of Kagera River. The project is implemented by National Water and Sewerage Corporation which assigned Cabinet MERLIN / ILF Joint Venture the detailed design and work supervision for Kagera Water Works.



Scope of Work

As part of the detailed design and work supervision for Kagera Water Works, Proess was engaged to carry out gauge installation and weekly water level measurements along the Kagera River.

Services offered

  • Identified suitable sections for the installation of the gauges.
  • Installed gauges.
  • Surveyed gauges which included levelling to determine the heights.
  • Picked GPS measurements to determine the positions of the gauges.
  • Gauge reading.
